Ingredients
  

  • 2 cup Sabudana
  • 1/2 cup Coarsely crushed peanuts (you can reduce it to 1/4 cup or omit it altogether)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 3-4 small Green Chillies Chopped
  • 1 tbsp Ghee (can be substituted with Olive Oil or Coconut oil)
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • a handful of Cilantro Chopped (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Freshly grated coconut (optional)
  • a squeeze of lemon (optional)

Instructions
 

  • The night before you want to eat, wash the sabudana with water once and soak it in enough water so the pearls are submerged in the water.
  • Drain the water and some salt, sugar and crushed peanuts. Mix well.
  • In a kadhai, add the ghee, green chilies, and cumin seeds. Saute it for a few minutes.
  • Add in the sabudana mixture to the kadhai. Saute it for 5-6 mins. Don't cook it too much or the sabudana pearls will stick to each other.
  • Sprinkle some cilantro, coconut and squeeze some lemon! Enjoy with a cup of chai!
